Entertainment Avenue: The Love Gala,A Garden Your Heart Movie!

This weekend we recommend The Love Gala a romantic comedy drama flick that will definitely get you in the mood for Christmas cheer, it's not a Christmas movie but it's so empowering with themes of friendship,love, goals and identity which are relevant. It fits the classic structure of a romantic comedy with charm, a gorgeous lead actress (Lesa Wilson) with onscreen energy making her have chemistry with the other characters that carries the story, keeping it interesting even during the filler moments. The Love Gala follows the story of Kate Lord who is the daughter of Laura Lord (Sallie Glaner) the owner of the biggest fashion magazine who seems too caught up in her work, dismissive and overly critical. Kate seeks her mother's approval and feels she's not good enough till she's given the chance to prove herself by standing out or blending in to the same pattern. Danny Miller (Marcc Herrmann) encourages her to step outside her comfort zone and do something that's her which is sweet but also adds to the conflict. Dani (Brandi Huzzie) serves as the realistic colleague and best friend who gets enough screentime to be more than just a side character. 

It's a lighthearted movie with so many inspiring moments and even though I'm not a fan of the cliche endings because why should they fall in love at the end of the movie? Why don't we ever see the relationship progress? That's my problem with romcoms. Overall it's enjoyable and will set your heart on fire. We give it 4.3/5 stars.
