Entertainment Avenue: Our Favourite Onscreen Villains
Welcome back to Entertainment Avenue. We've got a few picks of our Favourite Onscreen Villains. They're so bad you love to hate them or you hate to love them.
1. Fallon Carrington (Elizabeth Gillies) On Dynasty- She's business smart, goal oriented and a Carrington. Portrayed by Elizabeth Gillies. Fallon brings in more than just charm and scathing catchy read you down one liners that always melt any cunning glacier trying to sink her ship. She always goes after what she wants and there's no stopping her.
2. Lindiwe Dikana (Sindi Dlathu) On The River - She's a force, while at times she comes across as unbeatable she has had her lowest moments, suffered a great loss especially her children. Ruthless, stunning and merciless. If dinner is on, someone's going to choke and it won't be her.
3. Lincoln March (Damon Dayoub) On Gotham Knights- He may be handsome but my oh my!! Beware, we never thought Damon Dayoub Was capable of portraying such a cold and calculated character. Too bad Gotham Knights was cancelled. He is a marvel to watch onscreen. The way he just owned this role effortlessly, award winning stuff.
4. Alice/ Beth Kane (Rachel Skarsten) On Batwoman - Rachel Skarsten really brought her A-Game here. Alice had it rough after the accident on the bridge, presumed dead after months of searching and no hope. They gave up. She ended up hypnotized by Enigma the Riddler's daughter and became an assassin.
5. Daniel Hardman (David Costabile) On Suits - A very compelling villain who deserved more screentime and a proper hostile takeover because the one he had was short-lived. Daniel is definitely one who plays dirty and his onscreen presence makes him a threat that amplifies the story further. His acting is so good you can't help but want to Cheer him on.
6. Khumo Motsamai (Seneo Mabengano) On Muvhango - She's very pretty like a Barbie doll in machete kills. Very sneaky, and wouldn't hesitate to eliminate anyone in her way. She plays a dual role of a kind and caring face with a cold heart that no one can see but those who end up on her bad side and no, it's not her without makeup. She's a natural and keep your lips sealed or red will not be a shade of lipstick you see but blood. Don't say we didn't warn you.
7. Monet DE Haan (Savannah Lee Smith) On Gossip Girl - Monet is a mean girl who is ready to make a statement out of anyone who craves the spotlight that she owns. Serving as JC's manager, her ways of putting out fires were starting a more fierce and furious fire just to prove whose burns the brightest. In the second season she was a force of fashionable chaos, tripping everyone else on the runway and be the showstopper. We love MDH.
These villains sure know how to work our emotions, at times we're rooting for them or we just hate that they always get away with every dirty deed,maybe they're on a losing streak and we want them to win. We appreciate the portrayal and viewpoint of these characters. Who is your favourite villain? Why?
