Renewed for Season 4, we have to admit - Michael Ormewood wasn't the most interesting character during the first season, he was good looking and had history with Angie, tension with will and came across as a jerk but he had one of the best developments ever! By Season 2 we were all rooting for him as we organically fell in love with the character. We saw a warmer, kinder, loving and funny Michael who brought in some much needed vibrance throughout the heavy drama. 

During Season 3 he was hit with a divorce and diagnosed with a brain tumor, with fans worried he may be exiting the show but thankfully his journey continues and we definitely adore him for such an amazing performance. You can tell an actor is dedicated to their craft by how much they give and Jake Mclaughlin never disappoints. One of the best characters on Will Trent next to Amanda Wagner (Sonja Sohn). During the epic finale he was almost gunned down only for Will to rundown the armed henchman and their celebration was truly epic who would've thought? Will & Ormewood getting along? It's brilliant. They've allowed this character to step out of the usual semi antagonistic traits (of) always competing with Will or fighting for Angie's affection, instead they gave him his own story and it has been beautiful to watch. Jake McLaughlin is our Actor of The week because he knows how to put on a show. Congratulations on the renewal we cannot wait for what's next (January 2026)
