Tune In Feature:
The TV world is storytelling fun and creative. A lot of shows have us on the edge of our seats, nail biting, heart wrenching, gasping for air, gushing and blushing. All these moments move us enough to want more.
Here are some really Good Shows to watch. (Top 5)
1. Scandal! (Etv) Bad Blood & Beauty a fast paced world where blinking is a miss of the action and drama. Scandal is an impressive show that has you putting your phone down, so good you'll forget that you're cooking and enjoy the scenes. They have fan favourite characters like; Dintle Nyathi (Mapaseka Kotle), Romeo Medupe (Hungani Ndlovu) and Simo Shabangu (Sandile Dlamini) these are some of the characters that bring the story to life in a compelling delivery that'll have you laughing,in disbelief and heartbroken. Get your popcorn, yes it's not a movie date but why miss out on the Monday to Friday serve that is Scandal!? They never run out of surprises and twists. (I love y'all but please update the opening credits. We need a new theme song and visuals pretty please)
2. 7de Laan. (SABC 2)
Life in the laan isn't always bliss oh not every smile is genuine. From Gossip to betrayal and an unexpected turn of events. Jaw dropping and daring. We love to hate Mariaan Welman, she always has us worried when she wants to get rid of someone, careful who you mess with. The 18:00 o'clock serve is more of a not everything you see is always what it seems. 7de Laan has us on the edge of a cliff most of the time and we should sue for the near heart attacks but we love it so much we can't stop watching. So good.
3. Muvhango
Yes, Muvhango....a lot of people say that it has lost its touch but honestly this soapie still has some good kicks and packs a punch. It may have these dark storylines yet warm tones (bright and colourful set) which at times feels like they need a new set but they serve and we are so in love with the characters. Gripping storylines and actors that deliver. (Not happy with the opening credits) Muvhango is strong and we're hoping for outdoor scenes and more action scenes.
4. Imbewu
Another strong show. Very stunning set and their stories are unpredictable, you think homegirl will get caught but Nah she's sipping a mojito on some "I'm unstoppable" Thokozile girl, we're still waiting for your downfall. You done put us through the most as viewers. And my my my Shria!! We're rooting for you, favourite villain, can't help but love the wicked beauty. This story is loved by viewers for it's clever play out of events. You're never too safe or certain.
5. Generations The Legacy (SABC 1) Yes, the Legacy. It may receive a lot of backlash but let's be real let's be honest they do deliver and have us entertained. Their storylines are a draw in and usually tackle some of the things we're faced with in the workplace. Generations does send a positive message of taking a stand. They have strong characters like Zitha Langa (portrayed by Zoe Mthiyane) the ultimate femme fatale who'll do whatever it takes to get the job done. A world of power play and how we lose and gain control.
