Mzansi Lifestyle: Reconnecting Lovers

Image
. Love is no easy street. It's a very challenging and exciting experience. It can go right or wrong, there's predictability and unpredictability. You never know where you stand and sometimes even though you do know, not everything is what it seems. There's overcompensation, guilt influenced affection that can make the relationship feel like doctors in the operating room PRESSURE AND CAUTION. Many fall in love with the hopes of never breaking up. Some bring out the best in each other that they never think they'll break up but there comes that unexpected day when it ends like it never began. Going seperate ways and getting used to being without each other. The moving on process is hard, letting go isn't easy and when you finally do let go, you feel so much better and you're happier but then some reconnect after the break up and become friends, they reminisce about their former love and end up wanting to give it another try. Now before you go back into somethi...

Avenue Music: Uplifting Melody

Image
Avenue Music: Uplifting Melody Music communicates to us in many ways, it also calms us and draws different emotions to our attention and feelings we never thought we'd experience or surface to our attention. We are sharing with you albums/Songs that are uplifting and reflective, relatable and confrontational. We kick things Off with Learn to Let Go by IDER. The alternative song is empowering and groovy, makes you want to spin in your yellow dress. Telling you it's ok to let go, there's nothing wrong with it. Learn to do that in order to move on. Holding on to things can hold you back. So let go and set free. It's a very Good Song. Relaxing too.  Just Dance by Lady Gaga It's an assuring dancefloor banger, that just tells you to go with the flow, dance and it'll be ok. Therapeutic and catchy. Say Something by Kylie Minogue. Sounds like a classic. The song is all about love. How it's eternal and that we all need it. The song is power positivity. One that'...

PsychUp Avenue: PTSD

Image
PsychUp Avenue: PTSD   With everyday events that we face, we are bound to come across a traumatic event that leaves us a bit shaken and sometimes make us lose a night or two of sleep. In most cases, individuals are able to deal with these traumatic experiences and carry on with their lives. However, there are cases where we fail to deal with these traumatic experiences, even though we've had enough time to heal.  Post-traumatic stress disorder is a mental condition that is triggered by a terrifying or traumatic event that make everyday life a little difficult. The traumatic event may either be personally experienced or witnessed. Most people who go through traumatic events may have temporary difficulty adjusting and coping, but with time and good self-care, they usually get better. If the symptoms get worse, last for months or even years, and interfere with your day-to-day functioning, then you may have PTSD.  PTSD usually includes flashbacks of the traumatic event,...

Avenue Music: Rapper on Feature: Jay Cracker A Big shout out to Jay Cracker, who shared his story with us. One of the most amazing talent, get to know about him; Hi Mzansi Avenue, I'm Karabo Monareng from Mpumalanga Acornhoek Matsikitsane view. I grew up at Casteel Thembisa. I started doing music and writing songs at the age of 13 but at first I didn't understand what it was all about, I was just doing it all for fun. I fell into a situation of family issues were I felt like there was an issue of abuse inside and I lost one girl I loved with all my heart during that time. During those stressing years I felt so scared and I fell into depression and anxiety and felt worthless. I started taking weed and drugs(Cracker) at the age of 18 just to make myself feel better and I started taking music seriously, where I was putting all my heart, pain and soul into it. International Song Of The Week: Save your Tears Remix

Image
International Song Of The Week:  Our international song of the week is; Save Your Tears (Remix) Ft. Ariana Grande. The Weekend and Ariana Grande are giving us another hot new song that'll have you in your feels. The moody song is a delicate yet alarming tune about lover's contemplation and frustration and confusion in questioning the action which has no good reason. They sing "I don't know why I run away" the song feels so romantic yet the lyrics are more on the side of heartbreak. Something you could totally cuddle listening to with your partner. The beat is a haunting simmer; feels like a drive. It's the most loved newly released song as reported by major publication Billboard. The Song is a 10/10 These two know how to work a record to beauty. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LIIDh-qI9oI

Avenue Music: Artist Appreciation

Image
Avenue Music: Zyle & Killa s Avenue Music: Zyle & Killa Serve a Meal That Has Everybody Talking!! When it comes to bushbuckridge hip hop there's a lot of growth and talent, back then there wasn't much of a hype or following but now there's a strong respect and movement for the genre because of the artists who put out their passion in the music, communicating with lovers of melody and lyric. We have acts like Zyle, King Killa, Reya Rey, Mack, Mental sight, Kat Keeng, Jay Cracker, JOP Tumzar Van Kotsi, TDAWG just to name a few who bring in something different yet it's a nod to hip hop and there's versatility and distinction. Zyle & Killa have a history but they proved they're not industry rivals but two artists who are pushing each other to always be on their best. They had a rap battle  and it's reviews have been really good. We can surely Salute these two young men for their hard work and brilliance behind the mic and the work they put out. H...
