Entertainment Avenue: The Lincoln Lawyer Season 3 Review!

A Must Watch Legal Series! It beats the ordinary routine.

Outstanding! Truly amazing. Their formula is absolutely 10 out of 10 they never miss the mark. The slow burn storytelling method that doesn't put you to sleep but you engages you with draw in detailing and compelling writing that pay off in the court scenes. With a much more darker appeal, this season was very intense, the stakes have never been higher.

Though I was worried at first. There were a few changes. The visual presentation. The previous seasons had a nostalgic feel in terms of visuals and episodes 1 to 4 felt like things were going downhill.

Premiered October 17th on Netflix with the original cast returning. Maggie was more of a recurring character and we saw some new additions that contributed massively. Such procedural shows usually get dull because you tell what's coming and find yourself not challenged but they keep it fresh as Mickey and his team hit brick walls that prove to not be an easy overcome. Each episode builds up to the other as they're well connected.

The fashion is also appealing! Lorna. Izzy & Andrea wore some really eye catching outfits throughout. The writing doesn't feel rushed and the pacing is a good dose of building a strong case before the eventual strike! Some of my favourite moments are the restaurant scene where they're celebrating Lorna passing the bar exam, seeing them all happy was just BEAUTIFUL. it gave us a fun feel after the chaotic nerve wrecking drama.

I'm disappointed that Andrea Andy Freeman didn't get much. Her storyline was interesting but it felt like a highlight instead of indepth. It's understandable and her Relationship with Mickey while I anticipated it, I feel like it's not as magical as I thought it would be. It's ice cold...they're better off as rivals that's where their spark is, a court face off now they have chemistry. Their relationship felt like a safety net.

Lorna receiving more screentime was an added bonus. During the first few episodes she felt like a background character until episode 5 and I was relieved. Sisco leaves me on edge, I feel like he's getting tired of Mickey (I could be reaching but the intense stares he gives our lead leave me worried).

Definitely is contender for Best TV series. It has the charm, grip and drive to take you on an interesting journey that'll keep you captivated and you won't want to miss a thing. The writing is really brilliant and the characters, heck the entire team brings it all together in a way that makes storytelling enjoyable. The closing scene definitely sets up the next season as Mickey Haller finds himself framed for murder, the tables have turned this will be epic. 8/10

Where is Ntare Guma? his absence was definitely felt.
