(The image above is more of a message of don't run on empty, fill yourself up with good things and do good works.)

Hi there and a beautiful weekend to you in Jesus name. I'm Aaron your editor in chief. I thought I'd give you another my essentials article, because why not? We all find ourselves busy throughout the week and at times it can be frustrating when it feels like we keep running to no end, those long-term goals that feel like centuries on the road. We end up exhausted because we can't dare call for a pause, a definite breather, why not fuel up? Even cars often stop for a tyre change or petrol fill up.

You need to avoid overheating and functioning on zero, use the weekend to give yourself some rest, at times we fear breaking out of good habits and finding ourselves lounging in the wrong spaces. We know that our comfort zone isn't us settling but a place where we are able to thrive no matter what comes our way. Think of a professional soccer player, on the field they're brilliant, beautiful footwork and you can definitely call them a catch because they never miss a moment of succeeding and meeting goals, now that's a business in profit. Or a doctor at the hospital. Your role is important and you'll get there.

Firstly are you in the right path? You don't want to journey to what isn't for you at all. It's deeply disturbing when we take on just about anything in order to survive and this can kill us, the passion, drive, excitement and find ourselves out of purpose. Life gets crushing hard difficult, a severe suffocating of seeing everyone move ahead, technology advancing and you start feeling like a vintage bag that can't even be auctioned for what it's really worth, we feel like we lose relevance, as if we are out of time and want to give up. So what if you've been on the treadmill, at times we need to get it right.

You can be a fast learner but the process of grasping and application are different. You learn how to sow seeds of success and are tasked with also uprooting the doubt and weeds of life that may hinder growth/progress. Don't find yourself in a space bubble of "why not me?" We point out problems just to victimize ourselves and there's never a resolution just us remaining in the dry lands, the desert! When we should move.

You set a goal to get married in 5 years but are still on the hunt for the one? Starting to feel like a failure or submitted your resume one too many times that you think you're just not good enough? We need to find our space of excellence. As a child of God it starts with Him. Seek Him who gave you this life and it'll all come together. Jeremiah 29:11.
We all need preparation and planning. Before we can soar in the sky we need to know how to fly.

Some things come naturally, yes you can have talent but not know how to nurture and position it. You could follow trends and use various formulas that proved to pay off yet it all flatlines because as cliche as it may seem, you may just be the one to start something new. Look at the doors that close and see if there isn't one open where you're needed. We do market research, a gap, opening and seize the opportunity!

So this weekend, don't beat yourself up the music won't be soothing and it'll be the heartbreak ballad of doom. Go easy on yourself. Don't add on extra weight that'll only make it hard to embrace the vision. God has it all set for you. Follow His ways, pattern and submit unto His authority and remember Ecclesiastes 3. A time for everything. Everyone assigned by God worked in a timeline where their call was relevant (Prophets like Elijah. Jeremiah. Ezekiel. Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. The Apostles and etc). No man is an island. Turn your attention to God. You'll receive rest.

Take good care of yourself. No declaring negative words about yourself and journey even when things look impossible or you receive a lot of nos, you're not getting defeated by the storm. Lean not on your own understanding and situations should never dictate who you are. Look up success stories for motivation, there's plenty in the Holy Scriptures and men and women today who've overcome so much.

So as you keep pushing, do not go on dehydrated, do not go on because of peer pressure or the wrong motives that may mess your moral compass and purpose. Never blur the lines. You can't try and cheat the process by wanting certain fruit to ripen or be in season when it isn't time. Where you're at now, will play a huge role in the finish line. You're not running an empty race of just receiving a mere trophy. Remember what Apostle Paul said to the believers (1st Corinthians 9:24). You too then do not turn back or sit on the roadside. God is with you, through it all. Even when it becomes difficult to run or to walk, keep at it. Perseverance produces character development (Romans 3:3;5). You're not just a seasonal creature but one who is promised eternity.

Yes, we have our lives mapped out by God for our assignment on earth and also the new life. So cheer up. It's not over yet! (Definitely listen to For King & Country's - It's Not Over Yet)

I've had my moments of throwing in the towel, tapping out but it was growing pains, seasons of hardship where I had to see God's power carry me through and experience a supernatural move and a reminder that He's in control. (Psalm 46:10)

Take good care and God Bless. Hope this article was helpful.
