THEME: BECAUSE OF THE LORD'S MERCY!

TEXT: [AMP] LAMENTATION 3:22

"It is because of the Lord 's mercy and loving-kindness that we are not consumed, because His [tender] compassions fail not."






We often trivialize the very blessings that keep us alive, unaware that they are direct expressions of God's mercy. Many things in our lives could have gone wrong and perhaps should have gone wrong based on our mistakes or the enemy's efforts but they didn't. Why? Because nothing preserves a human life like the mercy of God. It is the spiritual force that shields us from the visitation of evil. On countless occasions, there were incidents designed to consume your peace, your health, or your life, but the invisible covering of mercy stood in the gap.


According to our focal scripture, the only reason we are not "consumed" or finished off by the devil’s schemes is the relentless nature of God's compassion. To survive a single day in this world, you need more than what your salary, connections, or intelligence can provide. You need a sustenance that does not fail. When mercy is active in your life, it acts as a divine sentinel. It refuses to stand by and watch life’s pressures or the enemy's afflictions overwhelm you. Mercy is the reason the devil's plot to ruin you has remained a mere "plan" without a manifestation.


When the Lord’s mercy is in charge, your life is no longer a playground for the enemy. The devil cannot simply "do as he pleases" with a believer who is wrapped in divine compassion. While we often speak of a "hedge of fire," there is also a "hedge of mercy." This is a spiritual boundary built by God that restricts the devil’s access to your destiny. Mercy is what enforces the "No Entry" sign against the powers of darkness. It ensures that the arrows of the enemy have no effect on your life because they cannot penetrate the covering of God's loving-kindness. As you go about your day, recognize that you are walking under a canopy of mercy. It is not your perfection that keeps you; it is His compassion. Trust in this hedge, and believe that the devil is permanently restricted from gaining a foothold in your affairs.





PRAYER

Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word. I thank You for Your mercy that has been my silent protector and preserver.

Father, I recognize that it is only by Your mercy that I am not consumed. Thank You for stopping the devil's plans from manifesting in my life.

Father, build and strengthen the hedge of mercy around my life, my family, and my destiny. Restrict the enemy from accessing my life permanently, in Jesus’ name.

It's finally here. It's screaming Tropical summer, a surging with flirtatious romance bop that feels like it's the ultimate love song sure to get two lovers together. Jonita and Leigh-Anne bring in the energy sounding electric and charged up, so assured of the intentions of the guy who has their attention, letting him know he's a winner, they're already in, no need to do more.
