 Rest easy Mr Sandile Mkhize




Sandile Mkhize, better known by his stage name as DJ Citi Lyts has lost his life to a tragic hijacking in Soweto that left him with eight gunshot wounds. His older brother, Linda Mkhize, better known as Prokid,  passed away in 2018 after having a seizure. 




DJ Citi Lyts had no known enemies. It is said that he was with friends when suspects driving a silver Polo shot the star. It was around 2am on Monday when the incident took place. The Mkhize family was indeed blessed with musical talent and also suffered great loss in a period of less than five years. 

He may be gone, but his music and legacy shall live on. Condolences To the Mkhize family in this difficult time...
