Avenue Sports: Naomi & Sasha Banks Suspended Indefinitely



On may 16 on an episode of WWE Raw,  Sasha Banks (Mercedes Varnado) & Naomi (Trinity Fatu) were scheduled to compete in a 6 pack match, the winner was going to face the current Raw Women's Champion; Bianca Bel-Air at the upcoming themed pay-per-view Hell In A Cell. Plans were changed at the last minute after they left the arena due creative differences and feeling disrespected. It's said: they wanted to push the women's tag division instead of side lining them and pushing other storylines as they were to face Ronda Rousey & Bianca at #HIAC.  Their actions have led to mixed reception among fans and the WWE lockeroom. Pro Wrestlers from other shows supported the two stars for walking out like Mickie James. Former WWE superstar Ariane Andrew aka Cameron shared her insight into the situation noting Naomi was influenced by Sasha Banks to do this. WWE released a statement regarding the situation, apologizing to fans.

A few days later they reportedly pulled from all upcoming shows and on last week's episode of Friday Night Smackdown, Michael Cole who's part of the commentary team revealed that they have been suspended indefinitely and that there'll be a tournament for the women's tag team titles to crown you champions. Some feel like this is a work while others think it's the real deal. We hope it's resolved sooner and everyone will move on as both Naomi & Sasha have a huge fanbase and we all looked forward to them growing as a team. Multiple publications have been buzzing about this situation as it's huge thing. What do you think they should have done?
