TEXT: [NLT] GALATIANS 5:16

So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves.

Most times when you find it difficult to stop doing what your sinful nature is craving for, you tend to forget that there's nothing that you can do other than to start living according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Your struggles to live to please God won't end until you start living your new found life in the Holy Spirit. There's a life that comes through the Holy Spirit and that life is the same life that's in Christ Jesus. The life that's in Christ is a life that can always influence you to do all that's according to the will of God and you need to start living according to your new life in the Holy Spirit so as for you to make your life count to God as a wellpleasing life.

God has made the provision of a new life available to anyone that wants to make his or her life count to Him through His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is very much available to help you throw yourself out of the old way of life that you've been living so as to fix yourself into the new way of life which is simply God's way of doing things. [NLT] Romans 6:13 says; Do not let any part of your body become a tool of wickedness, to be used for sinning. Instead, give yourselves completely to God since you have been given new life. And use your whole body as a tool to do what is right for the glory of God. The old way of life is all about making yourself available to be used to do what's wrong and displeasing but the new way of life that God is bringing to you through His Spirit is to make you give yourself completely to Him so that you can begin to do what is right and wellpleasing.

What God is interested in about your life is how much you're making your life count to Him by living to do what is right for His glory. The worst way to live is to live doing what your sinful nature is craving for. The seed of God in you which is righteousness is also craving for you to live your life doing what's right. [NIV] 1 John 3:9 says; No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. The seed of God in you is the righteousness of God. Jesus is the righteousness of God and He is in you as a Christ believer. Therefore, having Christ in you is what makes your entire being conducive for the Holy Spirit to make the same life that's in Him flow into you to be able to start living the new life that God wants you to live.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for Your Word. Now that I know that what You're interested in about my life is how much I'm making my life count to You by living to do what is right for Your glory. Please Lord, help me to live according to the new life in the Holy Spirit so that I can step out of the old way of life that I've been living and fix myself into Your own way of doing things right in Jesus Christ name.
