Entertainment Avenue: House Of Zwide On e

The show premiered in July last year to acclaim and there was much excitement and buzz attached to it as everybody was rooting for Ona (Portrayed by Nefisa Mkhabela) & Funani (Portrayed by Vusi Kunene)  to reunite since day 1. Set in a fashion house where threads of secrets, sewn relationships and framed in fabric are a stunning serve (and don't expect the fashion police for that 🤭) we love to pose for the camera for at 19:00 weeknights on etv

The secret about Ona being Zobuhle, Funani's daughter who's presumed dead, has everyone wanting the truth to come out but everytime we think we're getting closer a Faith (Portrayed by Bawinile Ntshaba) sighs relieved, she never thought this would one day haunt her. She always takes it too far to save her own skin and fit in to the clothes that make her look as the loving wife and never the thorn bush disguised as a rose.
The show carries humor too with Uncle Molefe (Portrayed by Motlatsi Mafatshe) who's one smooth talker we've come to love. So far the show has been smooth sailing into homes of South Africans, who are getting impatient but come on y'all patience is a vegetable...I mean virtue🙂. Also the hairstyles are truly something special, Ona's red braids are one of our favorite looks from her, we'd like to see them return. Lazarus (Portrayed by Khaya Dladla) also gives us fashionista vibes with statement pieces and outfits that are a nice pop.

One thing we'd like to see are more fashion shows, serious competition from another fashion house and runaway espionage. More of Pearl (Lois Du Plessis) please and De Villiers (Noah Cohen). We appreciate the diverse cast. Mampho (portrayed by Gaisang Noge) & Shoki (Portrayed by Shalate Sekhabi )
are caught up in a man, somebody please play "What a Man" by Salt-En-Pepa & En Vogue and sing it "What a man, what a man, what a man
What a mighty good man
Gotta say it again now
What a man, what a man, what a man
What a mighty good man
He's a mighty mighty good man" or is he? Nkosi (Wanda Blaq Zuma) has these two ladies clawing each other, the girl on girl hate is spicy as there's never a dull moment when they're in the same room. Their storyline is currently a hot serve as Mampho is pregnant and gloats so well Shoki sometimes feels her relationship slipping. A lot has happened since it first debuted and we can say it's been interesting to stick around and stay glued for more even there's been unhappy viewers who feel like the storyline is dragging but like we said, good things come to those who wait. With the Season finale approaching, we're hoping for an epic conclusion before stepping in style in to the new season.
Starring: Paballo Mavundla, Jeffrey Sekele, Matshepo Maleme, Sikelelwela Vuyeleni, Lwazi Mthembu, Lois Du Plessis, Linda Nxumalo.
