Making The Video: Change by NKO BushGang

McKing: Who is NKO BushGang and what does he do?

NKO BushGang: NKO Bushgang (Nkosinathi Ndlovu) Born and raised in Bushbuckridge Mpumalanga he is a Hip/Hop Musician.

McKing: When did you start making music?
Started making music in my early age in 2011, released my solo single in 2012 that’s when my youtube channel was created, before (that) I was with a crew called Viper after the split I created Bushgang Music Group and some of the Viper members joined me.

McKing: How would you best describe your sound and writing?

NKO Bushgang: My sound is unique and international I always try to make my songs in English to accommodate everyone as I know lot of people who can't hear my home language.

McKing: It definitely is. From your first song to now what have you learned about yourself?

NKO Bushgang: Yes I did learn about myself. I learnt a lot about myself and I found my own sound because before I would do all the hip hop subgenres but now im only focusing on Trap/urban Hip hop.

McKing: And you're killing it. You recently released your first ever visual and it's stunning. How did it come about?

NKO Bushgang: To be honest I feel so great and proud about that I'm proud of myself and my Nigga Joyler; who helped me film it. We were recording at night and in the morning we had nothing to do that’s when we decided to go out early in the morning.

McKing: Wow!! What was the most challenging part of filming?

NKO Bushgang: The only challenge we had it was the rain, we had filming equipment in hand but never used it because it was raining so we only used a go Pro Drone & high end smart phone with 4K filming ability.

McKing: Y'all didn't let the rain stop you, I like that. How many days did it take to film?

NKO Bushgang: It only took us lessthan 3 Hours to film and edit everything.

McKing: Impressive. As an independent artist did you have full creative control especially in the post-production part? The editing and look of your work? Talk us through that...

NKO Bushgang: Yes everything is in my control I usually record myself with my producers and from now on we will do our own filming so I direct my own things.

McKing: That's awesome, to more music. Your favorite scene on the visual?

NKO Bushgang: My favorite is when we filmed while driving that was fun.

McKing: Y'all pulled that off on 100, dope as ever. Where would you like to see the visual or the music going?
NKO Bushgang: I hope to see it on Tv someday, I already submitted it just waiting for positive response.

McKing: All the best. Writing the song "Change", even though it's very direct is it from a personal tone or something you've always wanted to write about?

NKO Bushgang: Yes, it is always something I wanted to write, it's something I experienced.

McKing: We love when an artist addresses stuff they've been through. The realness is everything. What are you currently working on?

NKO Bushgang: Im currently working on a hit single with my brother Zyle and Joyler.

McKing: Ooh exciting times in music indeed. Any collaborations we can expect?

NKO Bushgang: Yes I will be collaborating with Canice, Zyle, Joyler and The Lady Ross.

McKing: Looking forward to those. Where can people follow you?

NKO Bushgang: People can follow me on my Facebook page: NBA Nko Bushgang Again and Twitter:  @nko365.

Thank you for joining us. All the best NKO Bushgang. We'll be on the lookout for new music.
