After the release of the Lost Tapes, a surprise album which was well received by fans and critics. Featuring songs such as Victory, Boys, Today & Metal Heart. 

The Sugababes are back with a brand new single ahead of their 9th studio album set for a 2024 release. When The Rain Comes is such a feel good song, they aren't blending in to the current mainstream sound but are doing their own thing sonically. 

It's a soulful ballad with beautiful radiant harmonies...it showcases their maturity and growth throughout the years as heard in records. From their first album One Touch to now there's this youthfulness to elegance transition that's present. The intro for me is a highlight, "Ooh Ooh, Light" lyrically it's a song about wanting something lasting even during the toughest of times, they long for a love that won't ditch them in the cold as they sing "Will you be there when the rain comes?"

At first listen I wasn't so sure but it has grown on me, it's a record like wine. Definitely deserves a 5/5 stars. This past weekend they performed at the O2 arena in London. They're back and are here to stay, we're ready for more music from Mutya Buena. Keisha Buchanan & Siobhan Donaghy.
