The ABC crime drama starring Kaitlin Olson and Daniel Sunjata is a certified hit with viewers and critics, big ratings and some interesting plot points give this show a distinct and appealing tone, though campy it doesn't shy away from the hard hitting moments that drive the story to all time highs.

Judy Reyes. Javicia Leslie. Deniz Akdeniz. Amirah J. Matthew Lamb. JD Pardo. Taran Killam are part of the cast as Selena Soto. Daphne Forrester. Lev Oz Ozdil. Ava Gillory. Elliot Radovic. Tom & Ludo Radovic respectively.
Morgan has a very high IQ and sees deep into details, her attentiveness is truly remarkable as anything and everything is something she goes through, forget reading the room, she cleans house! Adam is a more strict guy, no nonsense and very direct he warms up to Morgan after doubting her abilities during the first few episodes, they end up with a really engaging relationship buzzing with chemistry.
(Spoiler Alert: Episode 13 gives us hints of the two slow dancing and having a cosy conversation with a growing fire, we want to fan the flames but Morgan's date Tom portrayed by JD Pardo showed up and I was like "Dude I'd hate for Morgan to choose and it's not you")

Morgan & Adam on Episode 13/ABC Press. |
High Potential has an effective formula that is structured very well from start to finish, Morgan's schtick doesn't get predictable as different situations instead highlight how effective of a character she is. At times she stumbles upon certain details instead of easily telling, she first studies/examines the situation and goes through a process of piecing the puzzles together and confirming it. It's definitely a must watch show filled with light hearted moments but also giving you a good dose of thrilling inescapable drama. Oz and Daphne also get screentime playing a vital role, not feeling like side characters just to have room for filler scenes, no, they are competent and everyone works as a team which is quite nice, the emphasis is not always on Morgan or Adam, even Soto gets involved where relevant to the story.
The Season 2 build up was really good, a recurring villain was introduced and for the first time ever, they didn't lock up the bad guy and it seems our Game Player is interested in Morgan who now serves as his playmate but will she step into the playground? Roman's storyline also had new developments with Keradac revealing he knows where he is, the final scene sequence was thrilling and exciting, making the wait for Season 2 even more worth it. A lasting impression that gets people talking is good.
Currently streaming on Disney+ and aired on ABC every Wednesday at 9/c
