Avenue Music: Sabrina Carpenter Sabrina Carpenter has been on a trail blazing roll, from her work as an actress on the recent Amazon movie: Emergency To her upcoming album " Emails I Can't Send " featuring songs like Skinny Dipping, Fast Times & Vicious . We can't help but be excited. This Hollywood star always reinvents herself with her music from folk to dance, hip hop and synth pop arrangements she always leaves a memorable tone. We look forward to this album after her well received Singular Act II in 2019. In 2020 we had the elegant and groovy hip hop pop kissed into the jazz of things record: Honeymoon Fades . While it wasn't accompanied by a visual it still packs a punch. She's one artist who is underrated and feel deserves more.  Vicious is a very fresh guitar driven record which has this folk or country feel and chill summer tone to it.  Pride Month  Most of us have difficulty accepting something that we do not fully understand and therefore act or react in an unusual manner. As much as we were celebrating Youth Day not so long ago, it would seem awkward if people of colour saw young white people partaking in the celebration of youth day because of the memory attached to the celebration. Even though we are trying to take a different perspective, it is still uncommon for such to happen. The very same Youth Month also happens to be Pride Month, also another controversial concept that South Africans need to come in terms with. The primary idea for Pride Month is for differentiated individuals to come together in their differences and be united as one. This would of course include race, age and gender differences, however a more concentrated focus has been given to gender differences.
