Don't live carelessly, unthinkingly. Make sure you understand what the Master wants.

Living a well pleasing life as a Christ believer is simply choosing not to live carelessly. To live a well pleasing life, there's something that you need to understand and that's what the Lord wants. Necessity is laid upon you as a Christ believer to understand what the Lord wants and then live according to what He wants. How do you know what the Lord wants? It's simply His will and since the will of God is the Word of God, then it's very easy to know that what you ought to understand to live a life that's well pleasing to the Lord is His will. Your struggle to live a life that's well pleasing to the Lord will cease when you begin to understand what He wants.

The choice to live for God must be premised on your understanding of His will and not just because you want to live for Him. Many people have struggled more in their attempts to live for God basically because they lacked one thing and that's the understanding of His will. The will of God must be learnt and be well understood before it can become a pattern to live one's life after. The understanding of the will of God comes through the ministry of the Word and of prayer. You'll need a fervent prayer life and a diligent study life to able to know and understand what the will of God is.

What gets you more aligned with the will of God is the understanding you have obtained about it. You'll be more aligned with the will of God when you get to understand it. As a Christ believer, you can't just afford to live for God without the understanding of His will. The understanding of God's will is what makes living for Him possible and easy. The more you pray and study God's Word, the more you'll get to know and understand what His will is. God's will is very paramount when it comes to pleasing Him and you must do all you can to know it and understand it so that you won't have to struggle to please Him.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for Your Word. Now that I know that my struggle to live a life that's well pleasing to the Lord will cease when I begin to understand what He wants. Please Lord, help me to know and understand what Your will is so that my attempts to live to please You all my life won't be in vain in Jesus Christ name.
