Avenue food: Tetley Tea

Image
Tetley Tea It's not just tea, it's great green tea... Tetley tea is green tea that comes in a various of flavours to choose from, depending on what tickles your taste buds. The green tea also comes with a couple of health benefits and stimulates bowel movement which helps with indigestion amongst other things.  We've had the privilege of trying out two flavours of this and this is what we think of it in the past four weeks, we had the Lemon Flavoured and Mint Flavoured green tea. The first two weeks was with th Lemon flavourerd green tea and this is what we think of it:  Well, to be honest, one would think that flavoured green tea would be something else as green tea already has a flavour of its own.   Starting off with the mint flavour, one has to be a lover of mint to love this one, you do not have to guess what someone is sipping on when a hot cup of this tea is in the room. The mint flavoured tea emanates quite a strong aroma that cannot be missed nor mist...

Avenue Lifestyle: New Year Frenzy

Image
Avenue Lifestyle:  New Year Frenzy (The Late Edition ) PhotoCred: Unsplash Images It's that time when we get to have resolutions or reevaluate our position in certain areas of our lives. It's never easy because at times it feels like you're idling and things aren't going as planned. We are under pressure to deliver and show off a pattern of success but when we are met with a decline we often wanna disassociate with the failure and we lose the opportunity to learn from them. Receive help and do better.  Running this publication isn't a walk in the park. It's exciting, thrilling and empowering but in the same space it can be demanding and the progression isn't at all pleasing. You have moments where you feel grown but you're still taking baby steps but that's just you rushing out of a process. You're using a slow cooker and expecting a 2 minute noodles serving. It's all about determination, realistic perspective, awareness, patience...

Mzansi Avenue: New Year's Resolutions

Image
New Year's Resolutions Every year, we all make resolutions or set goals and objectives we wish to accomplish, however, achieving these goals can sometimes prove to be problematic. Most of us have at least two objectives that we do not accomplish. Sometimes we meet challenges that make us deviate from our resolutions or we lose focus and simply give up on a particular objective or resolution. There are ways in which we can achieve our resolutions though, it's all in the planning... planning for New Year's resolutions does not have to be something outstanding or something huge; the best way is to have simple resolutions that are achievable. Don't bite off more than you can chew...
