It's not just tea, it's great green tea...

Tetley tea is green tea that comes in a various of flavours to choose from, depending on what tickles your taste buds. The green tea also comes with a couple of health benefits and stimulates bowel movement which helps with indigestion amongst other things. 

We've had the privilege of trying out two flavours of this and this is what we think of it

in the past four weeks, we had the Lemon Flavoured and Mint Flavoured green tea.

The first two weeks was with th Lemon flavourerd green tea and this is what we think of it: 

Well, to be honest, one would think that flavoured green tea would be something else as green tea already has a flavour of its own. 

Starting off with the mint flavour, one has to be a lover of mint to love this one, you do not have to guess what someone is sipping on when a hot cup of this tea is in the room. The mint flavoured tea emanates quite a strong aroma that cannot be missed nor mistaken, this is one of the best thing about this flavour. You could even use your morning cup of this tea as a room fragrance every morning because the longer you leave it simmering, the stronger the aroma gets. As for the taste of the tea, it is really meant for lovers of strong flavour. If you are not a lover of mint or do not like your cup strong, then it is suggested to enjoy your cup soon after three minutes of letting the tea seep. it gives out a robust burst of mint flavour that will definitely tickle your taste buds. At the end of the day, it all goes down to preference. 

Tetley lemon flavour green tea was the other flavour that we tried out and it is somehow a bit different from the mint flavour. The lemon flavour gives out a Spring feeling aroma and is not as robust and strong as the mint flavour, yet still very enjoyable. One would think that this lemon flavoured tea would have an after taste like with most lemon flavoured goodies, but that's not the case. It has rather a pinch or moderate taste of lemon and needs to steep or simmer for at least five minutes to really feel the lemon taste. if you are a strong cup of tea lover, then this is definitely not the one for you. One thing we can guarantee you though is that it will leave you wanting another cup of it, it is very enjoyable.
