Faith Avenue: Connecting To The Source Of Grace

TEXT: [NLT] EPHESIANS 6:24
May God's grace be upon all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with an undying love.


God is liberal with His grace but only with towards those who love Him with an undying love. You can love God with a dying love and with an undying love. It is when you love God with an undying love that He will lavish you with His grace. God is source of grace and you can't be connected to Him for His grace to flow upon you until you love Him with an undying love. An undying love is a permanent, never-ending and infinite love. An undying love is a love that is true, sincere and deep. You can't love God truly, sincerely and deeply without lavishing His grace upon you because His grace is specially for those who love Him. To enjoy more of the grace of God, you have to love Him more. The more the love you have for God, the more He will lavish His grace upon you.


According to the focal scripture for today's devotional message, the Bible elucidates those who God's grace will be upon. Categorically, God's grace can only be upon those who love God with an undying love. How can you love God? It's simply by obeying Him. [NLT] John 14:15 says; "If you love me, obey my commandments. Loving God hinges on your obedience to Him. Therefore, the more you do what God is telling you to do, the more you enjoy a fresh outpouring of His grace upon your life. When Apostle Paul was saying in 2 Corinthians 12:9a that God told him; "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." What God was saying is that Apostle Paul loved Him with an undying love and what he must get in return is His sufficient grace. When you love God with an undying love, His grace will be sufficient for you. 

There is no better way to get yourself connected to God as the source of grace other than loving Him with an undying love. The extent to which you love God is the extent to which you will receive the outpouring of His grace. God deserves your undying love because it took His undying love for you to spare His Son to die for you as a ransom to redeem you from sin. God's grace is for your spiritual growth and it is a must for you to possess it in abundance so as to be able to always live up to His expectations. It is the grace of God that makes it available for you to live up to God's expectations. You are living below God's expectations because you don't have enough of His grace. With the measure of grace that is upon you, utilize it well to live a life that's well pleasing to God and you enjoy much measure of His grace that will be sufficient enough for you to do all that He has sanctified and ordained you for.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You Lord for the revelation of Your Word. Now that I know that there is no better way to get myself connected to You as the source of grace other than loving You with an undying love. Please Lord, help me to love You with an undying love so that I can get myself connected to You as the source of grace and so that Your grace can be sufficient enough for me to do all that You have sanctified and ordained me for in Jesus Christ name.
