International Song Of The Week: No by Little Mix
International Song Of The Weekend: Between Us by Little Mix
Little Mix celebrated their tenth anniversary by serving us new music and congratulations to Edwards & Pinnock who gave birth to beautiful healthy babies. After the announcement of their Greatest Hits, we received the upbeat and energized Self Love Anthem "Love (Sweet Love)" co-produced by frequent collaborator: MNEK who was responsible for their hot hit Sweet Melody.
No is a sassy song about finally putting yourself first and walking away from a toxic relationship. The song kicks off with a self assured Leigh Anne "Woke up feeling like the baddest b*tch I've ever known" she sings. Serving as the second single for their first greatest hits album "Between Us"
It sounds different from their material, brand new and yet it feels like a classic song as it has this familiar touch to it. The song will have you dancing and singing along or walking out of a toxic relationship with confidence.
The visual sees the girls as housewives who get fed up and take back control by making their man child do all the work. This is no surprise as a lot of Little Mix visuals carry meaning like the 2018 lead single "Woman Like Me".
