Mzansi On Notice: Vincent Mgiba is a Collaborative and Hardworking Force on a mission to inspire and uplift.
We sat down with the multi talented entrepreneur who gave us the 411 into his life and business. Vincent is a creative who was first introduced to us through poetry, performing at live events and later on doing motivational talks to empower learners at different schools in and around the province. He has accomplished so much and we had to have this interview with him. Here's what went down.
Welcome to Mzansi Avenue, thank you for joining us, How are you?
Vincent: Thank you for having me, I'm alive and you?
MCK!NG: We're good thanks, so who is Vince and what does he do?
Vincent: Vincent is a business man, poet, actor, fashion designer, voiceover artist, I'm someone who wants to make a name for themselves and establish change.
MCK!NG: Wow that's great and what have you been up to recently?
Vincent: I've just done my latest advert with the famous Cartoons; Mhlonishwa which is now out on TV Radio and YouTube [you can subscribe to the] channel Like Share And Comment and also watch the advert.
MCK!NG: That's amazing. Congratulations on that.
Vincent: Thanks am currently doing commercials on TV I took a break from soapies... I also opened a Training Academy in Thulamahashe for Voice Over Master Class where I train the youths and elders for Voice Over Ads which can be played on radio, television, YouTube and all social media platforms. I also train them a bit of acting and performing arts. the training academy is Called VM Voice Over Master Class Training... The master class started in September and I already have about 5 students and they are doing very well.
MCK!NG: That's amazing work you're doing. It's inspiring.
Why did you opt for a break from soapies?
Vincent: Thanks... I had a calling to come back home and open businesses with my business partners. and now we running about 5 well functioning businesses in Bushbuckridge and we have about 15 to 20 employees.
MCK!NG: Wow, impressive and what's it like collaborating with locals?
Vincent: Thanks...to me collaborating with locals, it feels good and it inspires me to have a spirit of rising and pushing one another. I learned that no man is an island onto himself, I also learned that a candle loses nothing for helping another to light. in life we rise by lifting others... we need each other to help other succeed
MCK!NG: Indeed. So what are these new businesses and what do they offer?
Vincent: We have Hulela Media Graphics which is based in Thulamahashe township Bushbuckridge Mpumalanga, Hulela Media Graphics is currently the biggest media company in Bushbuckridge Mpumalanga that works with over 200 big companies & with SA's wellknown celebrities nationwide.
We also having a shop at Thulamahashe mall next to Rage Where we sell accessories and Xtreme Kulture Merchandise.
We have also partnered with Tory Media X Jay Media X Amigo Jeanz World Where we mostly deal with Photography and videography and we are based in Acornhoek, Casteel And Phalaborwa.
We Have Lapiska Internet Cafe In Acornhoek next to Meropa Car Wash And Eskom distributor Where we deal with all kinds of media related including work like; website designs, Google maps etc.. We also sell fast food and drinks @Lapiska Internet Cafe.
We partnered with 1360 Print Studio Where we deal with printing and branding.
We also partnered with Prato The Deal Media And Computer Training Academy In Acornhoek Mmanapo Complex.
We opened a factory in Acornhoek next to Bossos Gym where we've just designed our own African home made handmade shoe, we distributed the shoe on the 1st of September this year and we already sold over 200 pairs of shoes. We also design school uniforms,suits,traditional clothing etc...there's also a beauty Spa College in Acornhoek on the same factory which we opened. We are currently working on opening an information centre around Acornhoek where it's under construction, to name a few.
MCK!NG: This is highly remarkable and what have you learned from working with these different people and fields of work?
Vincent De Poet: I learned more about humanity, teamwork and humbleness.
MCK!NG: That's good. What are the challenges you were faced with and how did you overcome them?
Vincent De Poet: Discouragement from negative people but because I believe I was born to win and to hustle; I told myself that it has to make sense to me not to them.
MCK!NG: And do you ever feel pressure being involved in so many projects?
Vincent De Poet: Not anymore because I've gained alot of experiences and I always come with solutions...I've been in the business industry for over 15years now
MCK!NG: Amazing. What motivation would you share with anyone who wants to start a business or a career in any field of expertise?
Vincent De Poet: Start with what you have where you are, and ask God for direction in everything you do.
MCK!NG: Awesome! What colour best describes you as a person & why?
Vincent De Poet: Black & Green.
Black represents my identity and originality, Green represents life in abundance.
MCK!NG: What are the top 5 things you can't go a day without doing or using?
Vincent De Poet: Praying

MCK!NG: Who is your biggest inspiration and why?
Vincent De Poet: My Mother.
She's a good hearted mother she always make sure that am ok at all times.
MCK!NG: And what are your hobbies?
Vincent De Poet: Hustling

MCK!NG: What fears have you overcome over the years?
Vincent: The fear of what if I never succeed...
MCK!NG: How did you overcome that fear?
Vincent: by focusing on what I want to achieve.
MCK!NG: Who is that one friend you can call to talk about anything?
Vincent: Brilliant Makhubele The Founder And CEO Of Hulela Media Graphics.

MCK!NG: That's good.
Your best moment in your life? The highlight of it all?
Vincent: My best moment in life was when I appeared on etv's Scandal! as Mr Nkosi back in 2019 and when I was invited to inspire and perform at The University Of South Africa (UNISA) main campus In Pretoria back in 2018 where I was performing and inspiring various university representatives (students and co).
MCK!NG: You've accomplished so much. Congratulations on everything you've achieved.
Vincent: Thanks man...my life is a testimony.... I'm currently the youngest successful motivational Speaker and Poet in Bushbuckridge.
