Weekend Essentials: Saturday Edition - Entertainment.


I love a good chill out movie that has all the action packed energy or something that's gonna set the romantic tone and have us in our feels. Also a fan of content creators who keep it fresh and appealing with their work. 

These are my weekend Essentials:

 1. Senior Year Starring Rebel Wilson is a fun movie with nostalgic vibes. As it follows the tragic story of Stephanie who wants to be prom queen but things go wrong and she ends up in a coma, wakes up in her 40s and decides to relive her glory days while trying to adjust to the new timeline and setting. It's filled with laughs, realism, friendship tones and romance. It's a good watch that'll have you entertained.  Streaming on Netflix. 

 2. Charlie's Angels (2019) - Starring Naomi Scott. Kristen Stewart. Ella Balinska & Elizabeth Banks. A continuation of the Angels universe better known with Natalie, Dylan & Alex portrayed by Cameron Diaz. Drew Barrymore & Lucy Liu. This new generation of Angels are not only gorgeous but highly skilled and charming onscreen as they help Elena stop a greedy man from using a device she created. It's a very enjoyable film while it wasn't a success at the box office it was really promising to a continuation of a beautiful legacy. The Charlie's Angels franchise is adored. This is special for a girls or besties night. 

 3. The Nikki & Brie Podcast - It's riveting, raw and real. Fun insightful conversations with special guests. Brie & Nikki bring a much needed charm you missed in conversations. It's a great listen that can range from relatable topics that enrich your perspective or give you clarity or more to think of..it's available on iHeart So get some wine and vibe. 


 4. Phakade Lami (My Forever) by George - It's an amazing book series created by George, available on Wattpad and topping the charts for its strong, consistent and gripping tones as he shines as a storyteller bringing in depth, development and enticing elements that'll leave you wanting more. One of the most read books on Wattpad in various countries around the world.

 5. Moghelings - An amazing content creator with insanely catchy skits that are a must watch. Showing off great acting range with stunning performances of relatable scenarios from family, friends to rebellious teens or party peeps. This guy knows how to bring the entertainment to you. So this weekend log in to his channels and hit play.

Unstoppable Thabooty On BET - Thando Thabethe s hit realize show that is giving more insight into her personal and professional life which promises to be a great serve of inspiration and maybe a dose of drama. 🤭😉 You'll get to know why she's unstoppable. Having been in the industry for years and has been outstanding in various forms of art expression. Do not miss out every Saturday at 19:30 on DSTV channel 129
