Album Appreciation: Patience EP by Zyle
Album Appreciation: Patience EP by Zyle
On the rise star released his debut EP and it's one project that's really interesting with stand out songs and different topics of discussion through charming and slick so fresh vocals to mesmerizing and sizzling beats. Some tasty collaborations and beautiful productions. He is one of thee most respected artist as he takes the grind seriously and has even went on a local tour, breaking grounds and showing impressive commitment to his talent, he's been featured on platforms such as Munghana Lonene FM.
The level of investment he puts in is a sure fit game changer that gets everybody's attention and once he's done you'll be giving a standing ovation.
Let's kick things off with Ungati Jiketeli which is the lead single (released on July 16th 2021) accompanied by a visual which were acclaimed and praised for creative direction, compelling story and a heartfelt song. It touches on absent fathers and how he feels abandonment, this is one song that'll definitely make you cry, expressing emotion on sizzling slinky beat. I felt my eyes water, Zyle brought the house down with this one. It's personal and relatable.
Va Kokwani features Rapper and peer Masheshe an appreciation song, a shout out to all the Grandma's out there, it has a homey feel to it, groovy and carries an elegant poise that feels like a big celebration. It sets a memorable tone of gratitude.
Ndlela is a beast, a charged up beat and a confident Zyle journeying through the song as he vocally declares the hustle is not a war. It's an impressive song, produced by Subzer Beats & Black 12. This song right here is an anthem, it's powerful, his vocal flows are smooth, devouring and bring a vibration of inspiration and a certified good time. The mainstream market better take notice, he's about to unleash a whole new game. Ku Tshemba Munhu is another dancefloor banger which packs meaning as he addresses trust and betrayal, social ills that create conflict and doubt while noting that no man is an island. The song is filled with harmonious energy and a lot of sense of assurance on self lyrically. Lwey Na Lwey carries clever word play while fun and narrative as Zyle gives you story time and it's one of my personal favorites, about bad blood, rumours, running your mouth without a fact check, in a world where jealousy is more relevant than people backing you up, he calls out the pretence and fabrication on a song so good you'll definitely feel like you were kissed by the sun with how it warms you up. After the hard hitting songs we finally come to a heart melting ballad with Ximatsatsa, another appreaction ballad dedicated to that special someone over guitar strings and flavourful melodies. Overall the EP is cohesive it gives you different feels and moments that offer a great listen, a draw in and something to talk about afterwards or address. It's a project that moves you from start to finish. Do Check It.
