This show is truly amazing. A 10/10 spot on. If you need to watch something with meaning, humorous and a stand out...this is the show to watch.

Starring: Quinta Brunson, Janelle James, Tyler James Williams, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti & Sheryl Lee Ralph.

It premiered on abc December 7th 2021 And it's an instant hit, acclaimed and adored by fans & critics. With fan favourite characters like Barbara, Janine, Melissa & The Principal we all can't stop talking about Ava Eva Copelman. 

It's about elementary teachers in an underfunded school. We see how they deal with the struggles and how they come together to educate, inspire and overcome challenges with their sometimes not so cooperative pupils and hard to handle like Courtney, remember her? It's humour packed and you get to hear their views of certain scenarios. There's no way you'll be 5 minutes in and you're not laughing out loud, kicking and screaming..ok kicking may lead to someone getting hurt if you're not watching alone or you may break something you'll have to pay for, so no kicking...you can cackle all day everyday though. Abbott Elementary was created by Quinta Brunson who also is one of the leads and Writers, not forgetting Executive Producer. The name of the show is actually the name of her former elementary teacher.


"And your real name is Sarah, I saw it on your birth certificate collage" - Janine (one of my favorite scenes which knocked me out...I laughed the whole week, remembering that scene that I want Sahar to return. Janine's clap back was so Janine, I loved it)

The characters all stand out with their unique personalities and also blend so well together, whether it's a team up or side eye contest. Ava the school's principal is a fan favourite character even though she's an incompetent principal, we all love her energy as we join in the protest for her to stay terrible. Abbott Elementary is family friendly and so relevant, real & deserves its flowers. Such a great show. Do check it out.
