The annual and glamorous ceremony was on April 3rd, hosted by Trevor Noah who looked rather dapper and upbeat. A lot of Publications shared their predictions with fans of each artist nominated...the event was highly anticipated as stars like Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat & BTS were nominated and each fandom was hoping for their favorite to take home the decorated award.
The event had stunning performances from Lil Nas X, Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga who performed Love For Sale & Do I Love You as tribute to her longtime collaborator and friend who's now retired; Tony Bennett and other stars who performed their hits on the grand stage
SZA & Doja Cat won the award for Pop Duo/Group Performance for their collaboration: Kiss Me More.
Jon Batiste won Album Of The Year with We are. Olivia Rodrigo bagged quite a few awards such as New Artist & Pop Vocal album with her debut Sour which has hits such as Good 4 U, Happier & Driver's License. Silk Sonic won Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year with Leave The Door Open. Tyler, The Creator won the award for Best Rap Album with Call Me If You Get Lost. Other winners include H.E.R Music, Jazmine Sullivan & Lady Gaga.
Our very own National Treasure who's a Global Star; DJ Black Coffee won his first Grammy: Best Dance/Electronic Music Album with
Subconsciously and he's been reaching new heights. We applaud and cheer on the Star, who's always on a new brighter shine. His speech was empowering as he thanked his fans around the world and motivated every kid out, that it's indeed possible.
