The Brit  Awards were in action last week and a lot of stars won big, empowering speeches, wonderful performances and more.

We at Mzansi Avenue would like to congratulate the nominees and winners like Little Mix who made History at The Brits, becoming the first ever girl group to win the best British group award. Taylor Swift who won the Global Icon Award. 

And also two Little Mix members..
Perrie Edwards & Leigh Anne Pinnock announced their respective pregnancies. Mixers around the world shared their excitement about the girls becoming mothers and as for Jade Thirlwall there have been memes featuring her on the Confetti tour as a solo artist, which she hilariously responded to. They said Jade will be the best auntie. Congratulations to the girls, mommy mix is officially here to stay.

J. Cole released a new project: The Off Season that has fans streaming song after song and appreciating it. The a m a r I video was released. Do check it out on YouTube.

Last Friday Nicki Minaj released Beat Em Up Scotty with New Songs like Seeing Green Ft. Drake & Lil Wayne.  The Queen is back and her reign feels good.

South African Actress Nelisa Mchunu made her last appearance on the SABC 1 Soapie Uzalo after being part of the show for 5 years, portraying one of the most loved characters on-screen. The show wished her well and we cannot wait to see what she'll do next. All the best.

Katy Perry released Electric, a song to celebrate Pokemon's anniversary and it's such an atmospheric song.

Bebe Rhexa is heartbroken over her album's performance on the charts, she worked hard and to see it not do well does hurt. She went to say "My career was built on failures" Bebe don't say that, you're talented and amazing. We're definitely gonna stream and bop to Better Mistakes. 

Olivia Rodrigo gave us a Pop punk song to rock to with Good 4 U.
She's one of the hottest stars at the moment and she deserves it. She shared the official trailer for her debut studio album and the very interesting artwork. Showing she's fun, different and ready to sing you in love with her.

Global Pop star Ariana Grande has married her fiance Dalton Gomez in a "tiny and intimate" wedding. The Thank U, Next American singer tied the knot in front of fewer than 20 people over the weekend, the PA news agency reported. Congratulations to the newly wed couple. Love looks so good on them.


Rapper Black Dove is also releasing new music, a song titled "Forgive Me" he shared the artwork and made the announcement on his social platforms.

Cheat Codes released their debut studio album Hellraisers which is full of sweet, tender and juicy bopz like Lean on Me Ft. Tinashe which is a fresh cut serving feelings, warmth and love like I got you, lean on me. We love such music.

Reya Rey & Kat Keeng/Keen9 are serving it up this Friday, they are hosting a listen session for their soon to be released project Straight Outta Bush EP. Those who've heard some of the songs have went on to share their excitement and praise them for their delivery. The listening session will be hosted at Hood Banquet. More details on the poster.
