We had a chat with Hustlepreneur Jay-Eazy about Business, Support & Growth. Running very successful businesses; If he's not serving the tastiest meals and sip on some good drinks. He's being the camera man and you thought being a stunts man is cool, Jay Eazy is cooler. Here's what went down.

Welcome to Mzansi Avenue. Thank you for joining us, How are you?

Jay-Eazy: I'm actually great, glad to be hosted.

Mcking: So who is Jay Eazy and what does he do?

Jay-Eazy: Well Jay-Eazy is a humble being from the dusty streets of Acornhoek, a man with a vision a vision motivated by people like you a digital magazine in the hood? Well that's why I'm trying my best to turn Acornhoek into something more developed like all the neighborhood's surrounding us, Thulamahashe for instance.

I'm a photographer at PhotoStreet Studios, and founder of Hood Banquet which basically a huge franchise on its own, we host outdoor nights, have a cocktail & Mocktail bar, also we host different events on the weekends. All this is leading to my vision of opening a restaurant and a bar right in the dusty streets of Acornhoek.

Mcking: This is amazing, what you do inspires and pushes others to do better plus you're not self uplifting but on a mission to redirect the energy of your environment, that's powerful and thank you.

As an entrepreneur what are the challenges that revealed sides to you, you didn't know you had until you came across that challenge, what was the learning experience?

Jay-Eazy: (Laughs) Well I often address myself as Hustlepreneur rather than entrepreneur, mostly because of those challenges you talking about, starting a business from stratch being a student who doesn't come from wealthy family can be daunting at times I often come across financial burdens that get me on my lows to the point of contemplating quiting everything, the lesson I took from all this is how strong I am and how I can pick up myself up and keep moving, also learned to be independent at a young age which is a beauty on itself.

Mcking: Yeah, never staying down no matter how things are is truly remarkable. How do you juggle work and school?

Is there a balance?

Jay-Eazy: Most definitely, there's balance. (Laughs)

Mcking: (Laughs) Well I believe you....So did you expect this beautiful reception towards Hood Banquet or you knew it was coming?

Jay-Eazy: The vision has been there from the start that's why I risked it all, but the vision coming to life is something I can't get used to, the love the people are giving is unmatched.

Mcking: Totally, support is beautiful. Who are your influences in terms of business?

Jay-Eazy: Way too beautiful, not sure if understand the question a lil elaboration would be appreciated. But answering from how I understand it I think it's the regulars who are always around when I host, making sure the place is a vibe.

Mcking: Well more like who are the people you look up to? 

Jay-Eazy: (Chuckles) Damn never really thought it that far, event hosting is actually new to me never imagined myself doing something like this before. The greatest influences have to be my friends; Khullz and Geazy the two bring out the best in me wouldn't have made it this far if wasn't for them and their creative minds. Also the biggest influence in my life has to be my best friend, Enough he's the most wisest person I've ever met. He plays a bigger role.

Mcking: Wow having great company leads to great friendship and accomplishments. Big ups to your company that you keep.

What are the most interesting facts about you?

Jay-Eazy: I define a vibe, I'm a go getter, also I'm humble.

Mcking: Interesting...

What's your daily motivation?

Jay-Eazy: The fact that I can't afford to fail. It's now or never.
