This segment used to be known as Favourite Rapper Friday but it's just Favourite Rapper from now on. Today we feature Charisma Seoke best known as Risma Da Beat. Record Producer, Singer-songwriter and Rapper.

He's a highly talented and one of the most celebrated acts among his peers. His arrangements and productions are always highly acclaimed. His songs are memorable and Well put together.

We heard from an insider that he's readying a single release under new management and that he's very excited about the new direction and representation.

So we had to contact him and find out what's the story and he told it to us....

Risma Da Beat: I'm Awesome Thanks!

Mcking: So who is Risma Da Beat, what is he all about?

Risma Da Beat: I'm an artist, Songwriter and record producer, Originates from Bushbuckridge in a small town called Acornhoek. 

I'm all about HipHop, Kwaito and House Music.

Mcking: What's your main mission with your music?

Risma Da Beat: My Mission is to get to the top and serve the world with great Music.

 I want to speak to them ,be in love with them, cry with them but most importantly to entertain and speak to the heart of all the individuals in the entire world with my music.

Mcking: Music does communicate to people and as an artist who are the artists that inspire you?

Risma Da Beat: I'm highly Inspired by Proverbs,HHP,Cassper Nyovest, Nas and Eminem.

Mcking: And why these artists?

Risma Da Beat: I love the uniqueness and the passion of these artists. 

As a rapper I'm learning a lot from them they're powerfully different. And their story of how they went to the top, the challenges they faced before their success and never gave up, it really touches and builds me in this music business. If they managed to strive until they live their dreams and become who they wanted, why not Me as an Artist!

Mcking: True and on point. When did you start making music and how did you know that this is what you wanna do?

Risma Da Beat: I started doing music from 2009, I was a drummer at church. The love for music grew in me while being a drummer because I was playing not gospel only, I liked to play drums for different kinds of music like House,Disco,Kwaito and of course Hip Hop. And I fell for [the] Hip Hop genre. I started writing my own songs because I felt like with music I can express my feelings and positively entertain the world. I tried with one song and got a good review from different people and that's how the journey started.

Mcking: That's amazing and you've never stopped.

Do you have a strong support system?

Risma Da Beat: From my eyes I can happily say yes. I see a beautiful support from different people and age groups. I'm doing music that speaks to both young and old people. I can see the love from different age groups when I'm performing live.

Mcking: And what do you want to be best known for?

Risma Da Beat: I want to be know for Infotainment in the music Business.

Mcking: Ohh not only do you want to entertain but want to make music careers accessible to others aswell, that's amazing. What can we expect from you currently? Anything new coming?

Risma Da Beat: Singles on the way! But the first single to be released is called My Moment, it will be released on the first week of June this year.

Mcking: Wow and is it a collaboration or solo single?

Risma Da Beat: It's a solo single!

Mcking: Rumour has it you're under new management, can you tell us about that?

Risma Da Beat: Of course I'm under a new management. I'm exited and looking forward to the team because in the past I was managing myself, now I'm looking forward to the best of this management.

Mcking: That's amazing and we cannot wait to see what you've planned for the next coming months and your new single. Do you have a release date?

Risma Da Beat: Yes! I'm dropping the single on the 4th of June 2021.
