Faith Avenue: Magnifying God's Word

TEXT: [NKJV] PSALM 138:2
I will worship toward Your holy temple, And praise Your name For Your lovingkindness and Your truth; For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

As this season has been declared your season of double honour, one thing is expedient for you to do as a Christ believer and that's magnifying God's Word above anything else. God Himself magnifies His Word above all His name and it is expected of you to also magnify His Word above everything so that you can enjoy the due benefits embedded in His Word. Magnifying God's Word is what you need to do to please Him. Magnifying God's Word is what you need to get the desires of your heart from Him. Magnifying God's Word is what you need to have a stable relationship with Him. How important God's Word is to you will determine how much God is important to you.

The greatest honor you can give to God is to magnify His Word. It is not just enough to magnify His name through the praises of your mouth but more than enough to magnify Him when you place optimum value on His Word. Magnifying God's Word simply means placing optimum value on God's Word and detaching yourself completely from anything whatsoever that can make you go against the dictates of His Word. Magnifying God's Word also means an absolute obedience to the dictates of the Word. Magnifying God's Word will demand your obedience and faith before it can release the power of God, the glory of God and the grace of God upon you.

If you would want to highly esteem God this season of double honour, then you have to highly esteem His Word. Those who magnify God's Word don't trivialize anything whatsoever that the Word is demanding from them and that's why to become relevant in life, you have to magnify God's Word. There are three things that can help you magnify God's Word and they are: Your Obedience, Your faith and Your life. You can magnify God's Word with your obedience with your faith and with your life. If you tend to obey God's Word and express your faith towards it but you don't intentionally get your life aligned with the Word, then you won't see so much effect of the Word in your life. The effect of God's Word will only become more visible when you magnify it with your obedience, with your faith and with your life. God's Word is to be magnified if you want God to honor you. So go ahead and do the needful.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for Your Word. Now that I know that Your Word is to be magnified if I really want You to honor me. Please Lord, help me to magnify Your Word with my obedience, with my faith and with my life so that I can enjoy the benefits embedded in Your Word in Jesus Christ name.
