We're back with another Interestingly good show for you. Fate The Winx Saga is one of thee most anticipated shows and on September 16th every fan was ready to binge watch and it ended up trending on Twitter and performing well on Netflix in terms of views, landing on the Top Most Watched Shows. Amazing!!
The second season has a more brighter picture and the fashion is truly stunning. Visually pleasing tones and graphics that spark up this magical world. We see new arrivals and scary discoveries. Blood Witches are the main villains accompanied by their little creepy magic draining friends; The Scrapers.
Bloom still wanting to know her origins finds herself having to trust people who seem to want to use her for their own motives. Flora is the newest member of the Winx and fits right in with her beautiful yet daring energy. Aisha has a first and new romance yet there's definitely something dangerous in the waters she's swimming in as Grey is a blood witch disguised as a specialist. Musa gives up her powers and ends up bonding with Riven, this leads to her wanting to train. A lot of twists and turns take place throughout the episodes like Sebastian turning out to be the leader of the blood witches plus some interesting things are mentioned like the company of light from the OG series. Sebastian's last name is Valtor (could his father be Valtor?) Andreas calls Beatrix "Little Storm" and we discover she has two sisters: D'arcy & Isobel Daniels this had many fans excited.
My favorite this season is Stella her development is beautiful to watch, they're not rushing it but she's slowly warming up and defrosting. She's a light fairy but has been like the Ice princess because well she didn't have it easy, strict Queen mother and pressure made her cave in. Her friendship with Beatrix was beautiful to watch as they're like these outcasts, they feel out of place.
Overall the second season isn't out there with the build up, it's subtle yet impactful as you enjoy the pace. You get the thrills, romance, comedy and magic that makes it worth every binge. We're all looking forward to the third season and it looks like we're in for a treat as showrunner Brian Young revealed that Icy & D'arcy will be part of it, if there's a renewal.
