This week we have an impactful Organization aimed at making a massive difference in communities by empowering the youth for a better tomorrow. We asked one of the members, Bekimuzi who gave us insight, this is what he had to say

             UYMF LIVE EVENT.

UYMF is a multi purpose registered NPO that was founded in 2014 by Lucky Gumede and Sometimes Mkhantswa. It was started with an aim to support every talent and career path that a young person would ever desire to pursue . It's mission is to reach rural areas and allow them to access information regarding different career fields and expertise. The academic organisation is geared towards assisting people who want to apply to the institutions of higher learning free of charge , however the applicant have to settle their application fee where applicable. The academic division comprises a strong team of University students, among them are youngsters from Zola namely Nhlamulo Silinda, Given Mahlaule, Oscar Marimane, Knowledge Mathebula, Nqobile Chabangu ,Nyiko Ubisi, Ndzhukula Mahlatse, Collen Machabe and Bekimuzi Ndhlovu. The second team is Billy Manzini and Ndumiso Mahlalela from Rolle and finally, Zwelithini Mthethwa from Thulamahashe.

 

           UYMF LIVE EVENT.

These young people take it upon themselves to buy their own data and help students apply and on top of that they donate R50 per month to the organization. There is a committee trusted with ensuring that every cent is accounted for to ensure order.
