International Song Of The Weekend: Sabrina Carpenter - Opposite

International Song Of The Weekend: Sabrina Carpenter - Opposite

Sabrina Carpenter released the deluxe edition of her well received personal and highest performing album to date. Which has hit songs such as Fast Times, Because I Liked A Boy & the recent Nonsense which served a series of remixes.

Opposite is track 14 on the deluxe edition which features an alternative artwork. It's a midtempo ballad about finding out her lover moved on with someone completely different from her, no similarities and he's making effort to the new found lover than he ever did to her. Sabrina sings "And I know now even if I tried to change that somehow you'd end up with her anyway" it's a strong record that carries all the right energy: sincerity, depth, longing, clarity, closure and heartbreak which results in freedom to move on. The beat has a groovy pace especially on the chorus that's just so chill, laid-back and breezy.

Emails I Can't Send Fwd: Is available on all streaming platforms. Do check it out featuring brand new songs such as: Feather. Lonesome. Things I Wish I Said & Opposite.
