Avenue Sports: Angelo Dawkins - Recognised Potential!

Angelo Dawkins (Gary Gordon) is a professional wrestler currently signed to the WWE performing under the SmackDown brand with Montez Ford as The Street Profits, they have recently teamed up with veteran and former WWE champion Bobby Lashley. As part of the street profits he's a former 3 Tag Champion having held the NXT tag titles, SmackDown tag & Raw Tag tiles once.

Dawkins has great in-ring abilities and awareness. There's been conversation since early 2023 that if the duo would spilt he'd be sidelined and become irrelevant. I'd have to disagree. Both Montez & Angelo are amazing stars, it takes two to tango, as the Street Profits they have undeniable chemistry. They are hyped up in their matches, crowd engaging energy and moves. They definitely know how to put on a show. I feel Dawkins will surprise everyone if he goes solo someday. Look at stars like Alexa Bliss, she proved to be more than just a pretty face after her time as a valet. Ms five feet of fury has accomplished so much. Daniel Bryan is another example. Angelo is championship material, if ever he went solo he'd definitely need to rebrand as more edge is needed to him. He's a powerhouse that's very athletic so yeah, more of that power and we're good to go. (We saw that edge after his new suited up look as part of the Bobby Lashley association upgrade)

And we're really excited to see what's in store him and Montez as they're having backstage scenes with WWE veteran and former champion Bobby Lashley. With speculation that the Hurt Business is coming back bigger and stronger. The Profits will be a nice addition and who knows what flavour of red cup madness will they pull when they turn heel? Or should we say whiskey best because they're dressed for business now and set everybody on notice by laying out The OC, this past Friday night on SmackDown they faced The OC and showcased a whole new attitude to a victorious turnout as they won the match accompanied by Lashley. 


It would be nice to see him participate in singles action or in a money in the bank ladder match in the near future.
