Avenue Fashion: Winter Essentials 

We're about to say goodbye to Winter as we step into August a month that's quite windy back here in Mzansi and soon the big coats, boots and other accessories to keep away the chill will be put aside as we spring into things. 

We're going to share our favourite in season winter essentials for men and women:

 1. The hoodies - you can't go wrong with a hoodie or sweatshirt hoodie they definitely can be versatile and compliment even your professional look. Fashion that's classified is often denied the opportunity to interact with other items and create a stunning new look. Only the daring would dare try

 2. Jeans - they're an all rounder. They never go out of season just that they don't make the best pyjamas as some are skin tight. Jeans work the weather and whether it's dark colours they help an outfit pop and keep you warm in a way.

Poloneck/ Turtle neck- They never go out of fashion, they've gained proper relevance since the whole jeans and a polo neck plus a leather jacket look or just a stunning neckpiece or belt to top things off. Not only do you look warm but stylish at the same time, you don't have to be like an airbag honey.

 4. Socks - Yes I said it. Socks are essential and while most wear secret socks or none at all. When winter hits especially with the ever so extreme cold front, you need to slide in. The can also help highlight certain colours if you wanna match up with your top or shirt let's say mustard and black? The mustard is more of a lighter tone and is better complimented by the darker tones.

 5. Boots. 

If you're a girly girl and still wanna rock a skirt or long oversized shirt plus a baseball jacket. The long knee length or thigh boots are essential. Not only do they look good but keep you away from the chills. You don't need to shiver when you can sashay your way in style. 

These are some of our favourite items to have this passing winter. What are yours? Your wardrobe is for all seasons, sometimes you don't have to go shopping, work with what you've got and may just put two new interesting pieces together that may raise eyebrows, have you trending on social media but overtime you'll see you got on the runway and dared to walk.
