The Show is a synth pop record released in 2004 by Girls Aloud it serves as the lead single for their sophomore album What With The Neighbours say produced by Brian Higgins & Xenomania. It received positive reviews from critics and has a few accolades having being named one of the best records on that year.

The song is very unique with it's own nature not using the usual verse to chorus formula. The harmonies are truly outstanding especially on the refrain which is sensual, playful and cheeky in a way. Their blend so well together it's definitely a highlight.

Lyrically it's about saying no to sex or one night stands, as they lay down the law in a playful yet stern manner. As they want the men to wait.

The electro moments throughout the song are groovy and the middle 8 with Sarah's high notes is the cherry on top. It's one of their Amazing records next to Biology.
We give it 5/5 it's a timeless playlist essential. Definitely a must have.
