No Crisis in Christ. He gives a Joy that completes us. (John 15:11) 

Peace is what he left us with. (John 14:27) Do not be worried & upset. 

So this Sunday we're talking identity crisis. I've been guilty of it. Ever been saved by God and made aware of who you are in Christ? Affirming it everyday confidently only to slip up, crash and think this wreckage is it.

Life in Christ is eternal and we can't ever be on the losing side. When has God's will ever been a failure to mankind? We can point out the rebellion and unfaithfulness of the Israelites and try to paint God as a classic villain but we got to see that the source of creation when we depart from him, we expose ourselves to a death experience - nothing grew, if it did grow it wasn't enough or got blown away. Because only with God can we access preservation, growth, abundance. Remember that with God we are like rivers that never go dry, we're consistently flowing in this never ending life by the Grace, Mercy and Love of God. 

How do we forget this? Well I've been in these shoes, they're not very comfortable, too tight or too big right? Hard to walk in them but we're overcomers and we become frustrated the negative emotions hinder and create an environment that is false, deceiving us to defeat so the enemy can try to steal, kill and destroy. (John 10:10) this is where God steps in because yes we are not independent beings. God who watches and knows everything is able to give us the best of everything, He is our everything and all good things come from God. 

I had to learn that those shoes we are made to wear don't go with the wedding clothes Christ has for us, definitely not fitting and he has shoes that compliment his way, a path of righteousness and love, so we can move confidently towards him, in him who loves us. Some days I feel a pressure to just wanna give up completely but that's not in my nature as a child of God. Our identity isn't at fault, it's more of our Faith that at times can fluctuate. Man isn't made perfect according to his own thought process of understanding, God's ways help man be connected to God. So when this moment of weakness takes place, the strength of God steps in. God reveals himself in the most unusual and unlikely ways, you could be watching something, listening and he'd trigger you to remember who you are.

Are you forgetting who you're Father is? Knowing such a loving Father can make you stand tall even in the most brutal moments of your life, try (Hebrews 4:15;16)

Christ set a path, in him we overcome the sufferings of the world while we get thrown in the fires, pits, drowned we never waste away for those situations can't master or superior us it's only God who has that right over us, just because it troubles us, doesn't mean it has won. I had to learn that the hard way. Refer to (Romans 8:38;39) his Love can't be defeated for it's Victorious. 

God doesn't hate his children, it's the sin he came against, the evil... whether we suffered miscarriages, any kind of great loss God often reminds us that true value is Him. If we lose him we lose everything. Look at Job, he lost quite a lot. God restored it. So we never really lose when we have God. We gain even when it appears that we're losing. Not knowing God restores. Books of Joel (2:12;27). Zechariah (8:9;17)

Note that. The enemy can never get away with it.

So if you lost something or someone, if you've come to a point where you find it hard to believe you're a child of God because of the severe trials and tribulations, unusual suffering and think "Hey maybe I'm not praying right..." Remember that valuables always the attack, if you were a worthless weed doomed to be thrown in the fire, you'd probably be at "peace" but since you're following The Lord. A rebellious foe wants you to fall away but he never wins, him coming against earthly possessions or your flesh is nothing at all compared to the Life that he can't strip you of. So remain firm, stay encouraged in the Lord. 

I confess I've been guilty of finding it hard to stay focused on Faith in God and not the storm at war with me but knowing that we have the word within us that overpowers any other words like cancer, failure, terminal illness, miscarriage,loss, lack, sin, death, evil, slander etc. The Word Of God. Our Savior Jesus Christ whose name is far greater than any other name, is able to rule us in Love and everything else falls away.

My tip is: Even when you don't understand God, stay close than to wander off but even if you do, he'll get that lost sheep back in the sheep pen. So when you hear his voice today: Listen. For the Lord Saves. He Loves You.
