Star Of The Month: Friends Edition - Sabrina Matukane 



Surprise!!  I said more content and I meant it. Today we have Sabrina Matukane, a close friend who means a lot to Warren. We had a quick chat and this is what she revealed about our Cover Star: 

McKing: Thank You for joining us and welcome to Mzansi Avenue. is Sabrina and who is she to Warren? How did you guys meet? 


Sabrina: Happy to be here. Sabrina is a self taught cake baker, based in Hazyview. I met Warren 4 years ago, He ordered a birthday cake for Mbali. We hit it off from the get go. I was shocked when he called me and told me that they ate the ENTIRE cake at one go during Mbali’s birthday lunch 😂🤣Warren and I started becoming friends when he kept referring customers to place orders… eventually, I met Mbali and we hit it off. We’ve been inseparable since then. Warren is the most amazing, trustworthy, honest, smartest and loving person ever. I met him at the right time in my life, when I was hurt and thought that I didn’t need friends anymore. Fortunately God had better plans for me… I got two friends for the price of one 

McKing: Wow that's amazing. What is Warren's favourite meal?

Sabrina: I’d say that Warren’s favourite meal is a gourmet burger(and obviously any Saby Cake)

McKing: He's definitely a fan of Saby Cakes. What do you like most about Warren?


Sabrina: I love his heart… Warren loves and serves God with all his heart. He loves unconditionally and also protects what’s his with the same passion. He’s smart, innovative, outgoing and has a fresh way of looking at life.

McKing:  What do you dislike about Warren?

Sabrina: Lol 😂 I don’t dislike anything about him… but I’ll answer because there’s no better word. Warren is blunt and too opinionated . It gets him in trouble sometimes, but he always knows how to stand for anything he says. We always joke and say “one day someone will slap him” 😂🤣

McKing: He does know how to stir the pot. What's his best pick-up line?

Sabrina: Lmao 🤣 you could’ve asked how many pick up lines does he have… the list is endless and they’re all hilarious..

McKing: What have you learned from him and what do you appreciate about Warren?

Sabrina: I’ve learnt that You Only Live Once. I appreciate his take on life and how he lives it fearlessly. He lives how he wants and is unapologetic when it comes to keeping himself happy.


McKing: He's quite the guy. The one thing people don't know about Warren?

Sabrina: Warren wants to get married one day…

McKing: May he hear wedding bells sooner. What moment between you and him do you hold close to your heart? Why?

Sabrina: Every once in a while, we have heart to heart talks. I appreciate those because that’s where we can really be honest and talk about deep issues in life. Those have to be by far my favourite times, because I also get to reprimand him.

McKing: I ship you two. If Warren was a restaurant menu what would he consist of? Give us the details.

Sabrina: Wow… if he wasn’t allergic to seafood 😂🤣, he’d consist of oysters, swallow nest soup and moose cheese and champagne.

McKing: Interesting. Wow I'm amazed!! You've been friends for years what's it been like? Ever have those heated moments and how did you let them keep you closer instead of apart?

Sabrina: It’s been amazing years of friendship. I look forward to many more years. Warren and I barely fight, we only fight when we’re driving together 😂🤣I always win. He’s driving needs me to wear two seat belts. I’ll never stop fighting with him, it keeps the wrinkles away…


McKing: To more beautiful moments. What message do you have for him right now? Where he's at in life...what would you like to say?

Sabrina: I’m proud of you. You’ve achieved so much in a short space of time. The world will never give you what you want, take what you need from it ♥️

McKing: It's essential. What does wellness mean to you and how is it important to maintain it?

Sabrina: Wellness for me is living living a healthy life and being genuinely happy… if you want to live a happy and healthy life, you have to learn to be selfish sometimes and look after number 1(yourself).
