THEME: THE ABILITY TO PRODUCE WEALTH!

TEXT: [NIV] DEUTERONOMY 8:18

But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today.

What gives a man the ability to do the things he couldn't have done by his own strength is the power of God. The power of God is not just capable to give you the ability to do what pleases Him but also the ability to produce tangible results that commands honor and dignity. One of the tangible results that the power of God can help you to produce is wealth. Wealth is one of the rewards that covenant practices releases to man. In your walk with God, there

are covenant practices that will open you up to the manifold blessings of God. God wants you to be blessed and one of the evidences that being blessed will showcase through your life is the ability to produce wealth.

According to the focal scripture for today's devotional message, the Bible elucidates the need for you to earnestly remember God in all that you do to make ends meet or earn a living. It's not the amount of efforts that you put into what you are doing that will make you wealthy but the power that produces wealth that God releases upon you. As you walk with God, there are abilities that He will release to you to be able to produce certain results. The ability to make wealth is an ability that comes from God and will remain in you as much as you acknowledge and reverence Him.

When you begin to produce wealth, don't ever think it's the efforts you injected into what you are doing that has helped you to produce the wealth but the ability that God has given to you. Efforts will produce no tangible result without certain abilities from God. What commands results is ability and it is not just an ability but an ability given by God to do thing. [NKJV] Proverbs 18:16 says; A man's gift makes room for him, And brings him before great men. A man's gift is an ability. A man that is gifted is a man that has given an ability to do a thing by God. So it is the ability to do a thing that God gives a man that will bring him before great men. When the ability given to man by God brings him before great men, then he will begin to produce wealth through the resources of the men he appears before. The ability to produce wealth is not in your efforts but in the power of God. Get more closer to God and the abilities that will make you become great will be released to you.

PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word. Now that I know that the ability to make wealth is an ability that comes from You and will remain in me as much as I acknowledge and reverence You. Please Lord, help me to always reverence and acknowledge You as my God so that the ability to produce wealth can be released to me in Jesus Christ name.
