Woman Of The Year: Thuso Mbedu
This international actress & producer has accomplished so much working with A-Listers, paving a way for entertainment, inspiring others in her footsteps. She's a force of pure talent.
Man Of The Year: Katlego Maboe
After much controversy this highly decorated and talented media personality bounced back with bang to much support and encouragement. Showing immense gratitude and humility. He's someone who fell but rose better than ever. A true inspiration.
Local Artist Of The Year: Reya Ray
Reya Ray is at his best and he's just getting started. He definitely knows his sound and what works for him. With each release he's doing something new and impressive.
National Artist Of The Year: Makhadzi
- Makhadzi is a force of entertainment. Breaking out of boundaries and stereotypes. Thriving unapologetically as an original artist, paving way for others to shine out of industry standards.
International Artist Of The Year: Sabrina Carpenter
- Sabrina Carpenter released some stunning records this year and she proves that with each era there's a different tone and form of music, she owns it.
Local Song Of The Year: Ngwana Mopulana
- It's such an amazing song from start to finish, Reya dived into amapiano territory and owned it.
National Song Of The Year: Two Monkeys by Goldfish
- It's such a pleasant record. Fills the dancefloor and the lyrics are so beautiful topped off with well put together instrumentation that is pure bliss.
International Song Of The Year: Boyfriend by Dove Cameron
- Dove delivered catchy at its best with Boyfriend. The arrangement and mood of the record is outstanding. Classic yet appealing to this generation
Best Pop Group Of The Year: FLO
- This UK based girl group made an outstanding debut with Cardboard Box and have been gaining more attention, acclaim and reaching new heights.
Artist On Watch: Reneé Rapp
- She's definitely on something great. Her music is golden. Highly talented and gives you that pop kiss record you didn't know you needed.
Artist On Watch: King Driez
- One talented rapper we want to hear more from in 2023. His delivery has been Impressive and brilliant.
Artist On Watch: Eric Jr.
- The next big thing. Exceptional offering and a distinct talent. Eric Jr is one to look out for.
Best Rap Album: Phara by T Dawg
- T Dawg put out a cohesive and consistent LP that is dark, stays true to the theme and doesn't get lost in the hype.
Local Album Of The Year: Piano Hour by Reya Ray
- Reya did something beautiful here, having collaborated with Keen9, Tash Malik & others, this independent release is a 5/5 of good music.
National Album Of The Year:
Insomnia by Brendan Peyper
- Brendan Peyper delivered a memorable project with this one. It's so refreshing and such a good listen. The overall tone is a highlight.
International Album Of The Year: Emails I Can't Send By Sabrina Carpenter
- A Personal album with some tear jerking records to fun and fierce arrangements that are a strong serve. Sabrina brought her A game and each era it's something fresh. Fast Times is one of the standout tracks.
Best Onscreen Chemistry: Savage Beauty (Angela Sithole & Nthati Moshesh)
- The two wives of Don. Grace & Thando (Portrayed by Nthati Moshesh & Angela Sithole respectively) their onscreen chemistry was just beautiful to watch as they traded insults each episode without it getting dull. Their tension felt real and engaging.
Soapie Of The Year: Generations The Legacy
- Generations had a good run this year. Some interesting storylines especially the work related ones as they offered some corporate espionage fun to watch. With strong performances from Samela Tyelbooi & Manaka Ranaka.
National Game Changer Of The Year: Reya Ray
- Yes! National. Reya Ray is slowly moving up the national space and he's really bringing it, not playing with his talent but he'll have you playing his music on repeat.
International Game Changer Of The Year: DJ Black Coffee
- DJ Black Coffee has had an amazing year from winning a Grammy award to universal acclaim of his work. He's rewriting the history books.
Best Drama Series: Blood & Water
Actress Of The Year: Sonia Mbele (Blood & Water, Season 3)
- Sonia Mbele portrayed Lisbeth Molapo. A spine chilling villain with a subtle delivery that set a strong tone. Had viewers on edge from her onscreen debut. Sonia made it look effortless and beautiful to watch.
Actor Of The Year: Jack D

- He's one villain you can't help but love and adore while vicious, wicked, cunning and with a sense of humor, his performance will have you cheering and clapping. You're supposed to hate him but he's so good at being bad you can't help but love him. Jack perfectly brings him to screen with impeccable delivery.

- The Hosts Of The Rural Urban Breakfast Show bring insightful conversations and help listeners into better mental spaces, creating awareness, empowering lives is just amazing. They have stunning chemistry and work so well together.
Breakfast Show Of The Year: Breakfast With Martin Bester

- Highly entertaining. A breakfast show that makes dreams come through, led by Martin Bester..it's a show that can have you teary eyed for all the right reasons. Hot, powerful and fresh.
DJ Of The Year: Gift Of Africa
- Gift Russell Selomi best known as Gift Of Africa is on a roll. His releases have been well received, he's doing so well on the international scene and local front. One of the best DJs right now.
Social Media Star Of The Year: Nathan Molefe
- Nathan Molefe is creative, fun and out of the box. He's an amazing actor who we'd love to see onscreen someday. His work kept us entertained throughout the year.
Artist On Watch: NKO Bushgang Again
- From strong collaborations to independently released visuals. NKO is blazing the scene and doing so well. He's putting in the work and we salute.
Movie Of The Year: The People We Hate at The Wedding (Prime Video)
- Starring Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Ben Platt. Allison Janney & Kristen Bell. This movie gave us a good dose of drama, campy moments and what we all desire: love. It's so sentimental.
Brand Of The Year: Amigo Jeans
- Morgan has been pushing this brand so successful that you can't help but cheer him on. Each year he's reaching new heights.
Business Man/Woman Of The Year: Kagisho Makofane (Organo Life Group)
- Organo Life Group is an impressive business that's making an amazing impact on the lives of many as it serves in health and beauty care products that treat conditions such as eczema. With a growing audience, you can't help but applaud the delivery. Kagisho is doing his job so well. Congratulations.
Moment Of The Year: Abednico Mabaso
- A walking inspiration who has bagged many titles. As a model he is blazing every platform he steps on and our moment of the year award goes to him for his Mr. Toursim World Entry.
Honor Of The Year: Ben Johnson Jr.
- One of the best writers in the industry with many contributions to award winning shows such as Imbewu on etv. Ben Johnson Jr is a talent we want appreciate for the amazing work. Amazing onscreen storylines and plots.
