TEXT: [MSB] ISAIAH 3:10-11
"Reassure the righteous that their good living will pay off. But doom to the wicked! Disaster! Everything they did will be done to them.







Both righteousness and wickedness have their rewards and it is the one a man lives for that will determine the kind of reward that he will receive. Righteousness is the same as godly living and good living while wickedness is the same as ungodly living and bad living. Righteousness comes with a good pay but wickedness comes with a bad pay. God rewards those who live righteously but He judges those who are wicked. Good and godly living commands huge blessing from the Lord and that is why it is very expedient for every Christ believer to stay committed to living righteously so that they can get a reward that will truly justify that they are righteous.

According to the focal scripture for today's devotional message, the Bible specifies the pay that will go to those who are righteous and the pay that will go to those who are wicked. A righteous man is a godly and a good man while a wicked man is an ungodly man. A righteous man is rest assured that his good and godly living will pay off but a wicked man is assured that everything he had done will be done to him. There is nothing good and rewarding about living unrighteously. The righteous might be passing through some life's ordeals but there is an assurance that he will definitely get a good pay from God.

You have to live for a good pay and be consistent living the life that will command such pay. There is still hope for a man that had been living unrighteously if only he can turn from his wicked ways and turn to God. Living righteously in this present time is highly rewarding. God delights in those who are righteous and He has a very huge reward for them. Before God can mark a man as a righteous man, it means the man had been consistently righteous. Righteousness is a lifestyle and you have to consistently live the life for you to be rewarded for it. God is reassuring you today as a Christ believer that your godly and good living will pay off if you stay on track. Therefore, keep living righteously because that's the best possible way to live for a good pay.



PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word. Now that I know that righteousness is a lifestyle and I have to consistently live the life in order to be rewarded for it. Please Lord, help me to be consistent with living a righteous life so that I won't miss out on the reward that comes with living such a good and godly life in Jesus Christ name.
