Faith Avenue: Protocols That Can Be Broken By Your Obedience.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.








What is common among those who love God is obedience. All things work together for the good of those who love God and that means the same for those who obey God. Whatever happens in the lives of those who love God is exactly what will happen in the lives of those who are obeying God. The evident trait of those who love God is their act of obedience to God. The protocol that can be broken by your obedience as a lover of God is the protocol that tends to make all things work together against you. The Bible says in Numbers 23:23a that; "For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. This is exactly the same with those who love God and obey Him. Not even sorcery or divination can work against you when you love God with all your heart and obey Him in deeds.

According to the focal scripture for today's devotional message, the Bible elucidates the benefit that is embedded in expressing love towards God. The benefit embedded in expressing love towards God is that the protocol that tends to make all things work together against you will be broken and all things will begin to work together in your favour. To express love towards God, you have to obey Him. In [AMP] John 14:15, Jesus said; If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands. Your love for God is premised on your obedience to Him. Those who love God are those who have decided to obey God always and are really doing it. When you obey God, all things will definitely work together in your favour. 

Obedience is a trait common among lovers of God. Your obedience to God is the proof that you are indeed a lover of God and the benefit that will come to you as a lover of God is the goodness and favour that all things will work together to command for you. Lovers of God are not just those who goes to Church. Lovers of God are not just those who give to the needy. Lovers of God are not just those who hold important positions in Church but those who are obedient to God and are in alignment with the will of God. God won't commend you for going to Church. God won't commend you for giving to the needy. God won't commend you for holding an important position in Church but He will commend you for your obedience to Him and your alignment with His will. Obedience to God is the best possible way you can express your love to Him. You can't love God genuinely and the protocol making all things to work together against you won't be broken. Do you love God genuinely?



PRAYER: Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word. Now that I know that those who love You are those who have decided to obey You always and will always live to see all things work together in their favour. Please Lord, help me to love You genuinely so that the protocol making all things to work together against me can be broken completely in Jesus Christ name.
